M.A.D.E. IN MARIN
The heart of The Aragon Foundation's work lies in our comprehensive M.A.D.E. (Music, Arts, Dance Education) program. We provide funding for enriching and therapeutic arts experiences designed to support the holistic development of underserved youth in Marin County. Our partners provide curated classes offer a vital outlet for self-expression, skill-building, and healing.

We empower youth through our M.A.D.E. (Music, Arts, and Dance Education) programs, which offer a diverse range of disciplines in a safe space. Led by vetted instructors, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential and thrive.

We provide funding for a diverse range of curriculums which includes, but is not limited to:
Singing and Vocal Performance
Poetry and Spoken Word
Theater and Drama Production
Creative Writing and Storytelling
Music Production and Audio Engineering
Animation and Digital Content Creation
Video Design and Editing
Martial Arts (combining discipline, focus, and physical expression)
Band Camp
Music lessons (Guitar, Piano, Bass & More)

Beyond teaching artistic techniques, the M.A.D.E. program aims to:
Foster creativity and imaginative thinking.
Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Enhance emotional intelligence and self-regulation.
Build confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of accomplishment.
Provide positive childhood experiences (PCEs) to counteract the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
Create safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments

Our programs are specifically designed for and prioritize:
Children experiencing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
Foster youth and children involved in the child welfare system.
Youth, children, teens, and Transition Aged Youth (TAY) aged 18-21 in the child welfare system.
Children and families from underserved communities in Marin County.
Children experiencing homelessness in Marin County.
Recognizing that racial disparities exist within the child welfare system, we prioritize providing culturally responsive and affirming care for children and families of color.

To ensure we reach those who need us most, participants in our M.A.D.E. program must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Must reside in Marin County, CA. and;
Be involved in the Child Welfare or juvenile probation system.
Be Medi-Cal eligible based on income limits for their household.
