At the heart of The Aragon Foundation’s impact are the visionary partners and teaching artists who power our M.A.D.E. (Music, Arts, Dance Education) program. From visual arts, theater, and dance to martial arts (including capoeira), digital storytelling, and music—our programming is as diverse as the students we serve. Offerings include band camp, guitar, piano, bass, drumming, beat-making, voice lessons, and more.

These classes are more than enrichment—they’re vital spaces for healing, confidence-building, and creative expression. Our instructors meet youth where they are, helping them grow as artists and individuals.

WOW! Music Studios

Inspiring the Next Generation of Musicians

The Aragon Foundation is proud to work with WOW! Music Studios, a Marin County music school dedicated to making music education accessible, engaging and inspiring.

Founded in 2005 by Tommy Toy and Emily Siskin-Toy, WOW! Music Studios operates in Mill Valley and Corte Madera. Built on the belief that everyone is naturally musical, WOW offers a welcoming environment where students can discover their abilities, develop their creativity and experience the joy of making music.

Music Lessons

WOW offers instruction in piano, guitar, voice, drums, bass, ukulele, electronic music, songwriting and more. Its innovative, playing-based teaching philosophy encourages students to start making music right away, building confidence and enthusiasm before gradually introducing more formal music-reading skills.

Band Programs and Live Performance

Beyond individual lessons, WOW creates opportunities for young musicians to collaborate, rehearse and perform together.

Its Band Incubator introduces developing musicians to ensemble playing, while the WOW Band Academy gives more experienced middle and high school students opportunities to form bands and prepare for live performances at local venues, including Sweetwater Music Hall.

These experiences encourage teamwork, communication, creative expression and a sense of belonging.

Recording and Music Production

WOW also operates a professional recording and production studio, giving musicians access to recording, engineering, mixing and production services. These resources introduce students and developing artists to additional aspects of the music-making process.

The Aragon Foundation's MADE in Marin initiative is dedicated to expanding access to Music, Art, Dance and Education for underserved youth throughout Marin County.

Our relationship with WOW! Music Studios reflects our shared belief that music education should be an opportunity for every young person, regardless of financial circumstances.

By connecting young people with experienced instructors, creative learning environments and opportunities to perform, we aim to remove financial barriers and support meaningful, sustained participation in the arts.

DrawBridge: Creating Connection Through Art

The Aragon Foundation is proud to partner with DrawBridge to expand access to meaningful art experiences for underserved youth in Marin County.

DrawBridge provides free expressive arts programming grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices. Through art, children and young people have opportunities to explore their creativity, express themselves, build confidence and develop connections with their peers and supportive adults.

Our partnership reflects the Aragon Foundation's commitment to supporting the whole child. We believe artistic expression is an essential part of healthy development and that every young person should have consistent opportunities to discover their creative potential.

Since 1989, DrawBridge has served more than 35,000 children and youth across the Bay Area. Its approach emphasizes the creative process rather than the finished product, with trained facilitators bringing quality art materials and consistent, supportive relationships directly into the communities they serve.

Through our collaboration, we aim to bring additional expressive arts opportunities to underserved Marin youth, including children participating in after-school enrichment programs.

By investing in local teaching artists and ongoing programming, we're working together to create opportunities that extend beyond a single workshop, building relationships, encouraging creativity and giving young people a place to belong.
